Culinary Arts
This is a one-semester to six-semester program that prepares the student
to work in the food services. Students learn basic skills, equipment use
and terminology, as well as learning to work with food types. Students
participate in many projects such as:
- In-house catering company
- In-house buffet and full service restaurants

- In-house beverage bar
Students participate in contests such as:
- Iron Chef
- Chili bake-off
- State Prostart Culinary Competition
Students explore areas such as cake
decorating, breakfast foods for restaurant work, large professional
kitchen equipment, international foods.ect.
