Chief Leschi, the largest Bureau of Indian Affairs school constructed in the nation, is located on the Puyallup Indian Reservation near Tacoma, Washington. The elementary and secondary schools enroll approximately 890 students, 98 percent Native American, representing more than 60 tribes and bands from throughout the United States.
