Chief Leschi High School has several vocational programs which prepare Native American students for demanding and rewarding careers. Students may choose the vocational career path in which they will specialize.

 

Career Path Options

  • Woodshop: math skills, carpentry, design.
  • Culinary Arts: cooking, small business management.
  • Video Production: camera operation, editing, on-air experience. Students produce their own weekly newscast.
  • Journalism and Layout: weekly newspaper or yearbook.

Art classes are part of everyday life and our student artists are among the best.

Chief Leschi art students hold top prizes across the USA. Respect for art and culture gives students a sense of personal connectiveness and pride.
