Strategy Statements
*Strengthen the Understanding of the Departments Role
Publish Mission Statement/Values/Strategy Statement in various locations in Technology Department and distribute via e-mail.
Attend building staff meetings as required to discuss technologies role and solicit input..
Serve as an active member of Curriculum Technology Committee and Strategic Planning Committee.
*Uphold Our Commitment to be a Responsive Department
Meet departmental guidelines for a 2 hour turnaround for troubleshooting/installation of hardware, software and telephone.
Follow up on 24 hour turnaround for problems that cannot be solved in established guidelines, keep end user informed.
Provide support and recommendations for all technology needs.
Meet all technology requests from end users with a "can do" attitude.
*Inspire Confidence in the Department and its Abilities.
Develop and distribute a technology questionnaire to solicit input from staff and other "customers" to determine how we are doing (two per year).
Provide technology "bulletins" regarding upcoming changes and events in the department (e-mail, video net, voice mail) prior to changes occurring
*Strive to Maintain a Harmonious Work Environment
Conduct monthly meetings for Technology direct report Managers to review departmental goals, principals and objectives and make appropriate changes (Team) Note: dependent on funding.
Conduct weekly one on one meetings for Technology Staff.
*Provide Opportunities for Learning New Technologies
Attend classes/seminars as mutually agreed upon by Supervisor.
Encourage educational opportunities amongst staff.
Route all publications and bulletins to members of department.
Subscribe to appropriate technology publications.
Utilize satellite broadcasts to enhance learning opportunities.
