Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

We're excited to embark on this journey of transformation and growth together. This year, we're placing a strong emphasis on enhancing literacy instruction, boosting administrator effectiveness, and supporting student mental health through trauma-informed practices. Our new partnerships with Lexia, The National Native Children’s Trauma Center, PTHA, and The University of Washington’s Center for Educational Leadership will be pivotal in reaching our goal of literacy success for every student. We're also committed to fostering a community where every voice matters.

To achieve this, we'll be forming committees on key topics like curriculum, discipline, and school policies. We encourage students, parents, and community members to join these conversations to help us build a transparent and inclusive school environment.

Chief Leschi is a unique place where cultural immersion and individual recognition are at the core of our educational approach. As a staff, we are dedicated to ensuring that every student receives personalized attention and support throughout their learning journey.
