Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
Welcome to a new school year at Chief Leschi Schools. We are honored to continue serving our students, families, and community, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to creating a safe, caring, and student-centered learning environment where every learner is seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
This year, we are building on the progress made last year while deepening our focus on student wellbeing, academic growth, and family partnership. We will continue to invest in high-quality instruction and sustained literacy training for our teachers, ensuring that every student receives strong, research-based reading and academic support across all grade levels.
We recognize that student success is supported not only in the classroom, but through wrap-around services that strengthen the whole child and the whole family. To further these efforts, we are expanding access to mental health supports, counseling, and behavioral wellness services, both in-person and through school-based programs.
In alignment with our commitment to care for our community, we are proud to provide an on-site Food and Clothing Pantry available to families who may benefit from additional resources. Our goal is to remove barriers, support dignity, and ensure that students can come to school ready to learn.
We are also increasing opportunities for family and community engagement, including wellbeing sessions, volunteer opportunities, and collaborative committees that support school climate, student wellbeing, and continuous improvement. Your voice matters, and your partnership strengthens our ability to serve students with excellence.
Together, we look forward to a year rooted in culture, respect, learning, and belonging — where students remain at the center of every decision we make.
We are grateful for your trust and partnership, and we welcome you to an exciting and meaningful year ahead.
