Medications at School

When possible, parents and physicians are urged to have student medication administered outside of the school day.

If your child needs to take any type of medication during the school day, even if it’s temporary or over-the-counter, a medication form must be completed and signed by the child’s health care provider and signed by the parent. This includes Inhalers and All over the counter medication like Tylenol, Advil, and daily allergy medication.

Medication must be brought to school by a responsible adult in the originally labeled container with the student’s name.

Students are not allowed to carry medication unless prescribed by health care provider.
