    Salmon Lodge Leader

haʔł slə il Siab Leschi Families,

This is my fourth year at Leschi and I am excited to be your Salmon Lodge Leader. I am proud to be a part of this organization and work with such an amazing leadership team. This great school community has been making wonderful strides moving our students towards excellence. I am committed to keeping this powerful momentum rolling forward by being relentless in ensuring each individual child’s educational needs is our guide. We have quality teachers that are dedicated to providing education for the whole child and I am excited to help guide their work with our students. As your Lodge Leader, I will do whatever it takes to support our students in their journey to grow into academically strong young leaders. It is going to be an amazing year of learning and friendship!

When I am not at school, I am with my family; my pride and joy. My husband, Gary, is a retired teacher and still volunteers as a track and cross-country coach. My daughter, Heidi, is an emergency room nurse. My son, Kyler, is in medical school on the East Coast and serving as a second lieutenant in the Army. I enjoy spending time together as a family, hiking, camping, gardening, and caring for my animals. I love learning new and interesting facts about the world around us. I look forward to sharing my passion for discovery and learning with our students each day.

The best part of my day is getting to know our students. I am committed to being directly involved in their day to day learning. You will see me greeting them in the morning, being in their classrooms, at their sports and after school events, supporting their growth academically, socially, and emotionally, and directly communicating with families to keep the lines of communication open.

I welcome your support as we take this school journey together. I look forward to meeting each family and learning how we can best meet your child’s needs; until then,
