Description: Offers a delivery food bank providing emergency food assistance Monday-Thursday to Puyallup residents. This is not a drop-in food bank, must call no later than noon for same-day delivery. See eligibility for more details.
Eligibility: Puyallup residents eligible, within zip codes 98371-98374 (128th St E is the South Boundary, the Puyallup River is the East Boundary, North Boundary is 8th St in Edgewood; West Boundary is Canyon Rd).

Food Bank offered at Puyallup Food Bank

Description: Offers food and personal hygiene products (when available), including baby food if needed. Provides food to the individual or family every 30 days (basically once a month). Also offers a pet food bank. Provides birthday and holiday gifts for children.
Eligibility: Primarily serves individuals and families in the Puyallup area that have a need for food. No one needing assistance is turned away.
Intake Process: First Visit: Call in the morning to schedule an appointment for pick-up that day. There will be a form to fill out. Any Visit after the first one: Call in the morning to schedule an appointment for pick-up that day.
Required Documents: First time: - Please bring current piece of mail or proof of address (rent receipt or utility bill) for all adults in the household and birth certificate or insurance card for proof of children. Any time after: Please bring current pierce of mail or proof of address.

Outreach - Family Services offered at Salvation Army - Puyallup Valley Corps

Description: Provides services to East Pierce County residents. Currently have utilities. May also help with rent. Limited resources, please call to verify Food bank is open M-F 9:30-1:00pm Clients are also encouraged to contact Pierce County Community Connections for the LIHEAP/PSE program first. Puget Sound Energy only provides $300 assistance per household. Availability of Elmhurst funding can change on a daily basis. Currently have Elmhurst funding
Eligibility: Must live within East Pierce County. Have a final notice for Termination of Service notice from Elmhurst. PSE customers need a copy of the shut-off notice (urgent, final or disconnect) and/or "Assistance Provider" notice. Those on a budget billing plan may also have "Budget Removal" warnings on their bill. Agency needs the notices to provide assistance.

Description: Provides meat, eggs, milk and fresh produce, baby items (such as baby food, milk, diapers) and household goods to those in need. Location also has Pet food bank. Hygiene products and household items are available, as donations allow. May also provide delivery.
Eligibility: Those in need living in Pierce County.
Intake Process: Drop-in during food bank hours, clients are welcome to come each day. Provides Drive-thru and delivery services. No ID required. Also have the names and birthdates of people in the household.

Mobile Food Bank offered at Nourish Pierce County

Description: Provides a mobile food bank that stops in several neighborhoods in the county and provides enough nutritious food to make at least three meals for three days for everyone in the household. People may visit any Nourish Pierce County Food Bank that is convenient for them; service is not dependent on zip code or residence. Clients "shop" and self-select food that meets their needs. Depending on donations, things like pet food, hygiene supplies or baby food may be available. Services is provided once a week, but if there are additional needs, no one is turned away.
