Internet Essentials is a program provided by Comcast to serve low-income households by giving them the opportunity to afford internet for as low as $9.99 a month. To be eligible for Internet Essentials for $9.95/month with unlimited internet (speeds up to 10Mbps) + tax:
There are no credit checks and installation is free.
No Comcast Internet service for past 90 days or recent unpaid Comcast bills (under a year old).
Modem and Wi-Fi router included at no additional cost.
Must live in an area where Comcast is available.

InterConnection is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides many resources to underserved communities all around the world. Their goal is to bridge the digital divide and they help by providing high-quality refurbished computers to other non-profit and non-governmental organizations.
PCs for People is a program that provides affordable personal computers, computer repairs, and internet service to individuals or households with limited technological experience due to social, physical, or economic circumstances. PCs for People also provides free pick up for whoever wants to donate computers or devices to help the community and the environment.
